Helicase- Unwinds double helix
Polymerase III- add nucleotides
Ligase- joins backbone of DNA strand
Polymerase I- Replaces RNA primer with DNA
single strand binding protein- holds helix
Topoisomerase- relieves strand at replication fork
Story
Watson is a boy living in a cell. His best friend is Crick. They have a field trip to the DNA replication factory. Tour guide helps teach students about complementary pairing and such. Students are interested in DNA Replication. Uses an analogy of legos to help explain.
Watson messes around with some buttons and causes a nucleotide pair error. Admits it, and then the factory workers fix the mistake. This shows the process of how errors are fixed.
The plan is to create a scope similar to an aquarium.
