Poly the Polymerase story

First Corinne gave a short summary or the function of DNA polymerase which was a good idea that i needed some background. The story overall was an adaptation of Rumpelstiltskin. Poly is the daughter of peter polymerase (The daughter in rumplestilskin that gets trapped in the tower). The kings wife had recently died and peter tries to marry his daughter to the king. Peter tells the king that his daughter can "spin" DNA. If she does create 20 strands he will marry her, if she fails she is banished. Maggie the magnesium ion helps poly by being her co factor and teaching her about them. Poly suceeds and marries the king and her family is no longer poor. THE END
